More Than a School

Sunshine Orchard is far more than the school it is widely known for. It is a Christ-centered ministry serving children, families, and communities along the Thailand–Myanmar border through multiple interconnected works, all grounded in faith, compassion, and long-term commitment.

At the heart of Sunshine Orchard is Our Sweet Home, a family-style orphan home lovingly led by Paul and Lena. Here, children who cannot safely remain with their families are provided with stability, care, discipleship, and a true sense of belonging.

Alongside the home is Sunshine Orchard School, serving students from kindergarten through grade 12. The school provides quality education, spiritual formation, and life skills, equipping students to grow academically while developing strong character and faith.

Beyond the main campus, Sunshine Orchard supports village schools in surrounding communities, extending education and practical support to children who would otherwise have limited access to learning opportunities.

Sunshine Orchard also conducts medical outreach in the surrounding area, providing basic healthcare, health education, and practical assistance to underserved communities. Through medical visits, clinics, and partnerships with trained volunteers, the ministry seeks to meet physical needs while sharing Christ’s compassion and hope.

The ministry further hosts volunteer camps, welcoming individuals and teams who come to serve, learn, and build relationships while contributing to ongoing projects and community life. In addition, Sunshine Orchard remains actively involved in ongoing outreach and ministry throughout the region, walking alongside local communities through service, encouragement, and the sharing of the gospel.
